Radcliffe Borough

The off field experience of supporters at our game against Alsager Town at Radcliffe Borough’s ground was not the best and a number of problems with arrangements on the night have been identified.

We would like to apologise to supporters for the inconvenience of moving the fixture and the lack of adequate facilities. Putting on a fixture at an unfamiliar venue was never going to be easy and we would like to thank supporters for their tolerance and patience.

Staging the game at Radcliffe meant that we could host the fixture cost effectively and we are grateful to Radcliffe Borough for their assistance. The problems we inevitably encountered were made worse by the need for segregation. We would like to reassure supporters that lessons have been learnt and problem areas will be addressed should we have to move another fixture.

It should be remembered that the staff and stewards at every FC game are acting on behalf of our club and whilst the decisions they make may sometimes be hard to understand those decisions are made with the best of intentions. The patience and cooperation of all supporters is greatly appreciated whilst we learn to take on new challenges off the pitch as well as on it.
