FC United of Manchester’s Academy ’B’ team registered their second 7-1 win of the ECFA NW Men’s Invitation 3A league season with this comprehensive home victory against iSports FC Manchester Men’s 2nds on the Broadhurst Park 3G on Wednesday afternoon, a result that keeps them in second place in the league table.
CAMERON BOLAND had opened the scoring for the Young Reds on 29 minutes with a shot from just outside the penalty area.
NARIO BAPTISTA had then made it 2-0 on 34 minutes with a low effort from the left, before the visitors from Altrincham pulled one back on 37 minutes.
On 52 minutes, ABDUL MUKTADIR made it 3-1 when he reacted first to a shot that had rebounded off the ’keeper.
On 62 minutes, it was 4-1, ABDUL MUKTADIR this time beating two defenders before slotting the ball home.
Just two minutes later, SAM IWEGBU was played through before steering the ball home to put the FC United academy ’B’ team 5-1 up.
