FC United of Manchester’s Academy ’B’ team registered their highest score of their ECFA NW Invitation 3A league season so far with this 7-1 home win against Connell Sixth Form College Men’s 2nds on the Broadhurst Park 3G on Wednesday morning.
KANE STOCKLEY opened the scoring for the Young Reds with a snap shot on 9 minutes before adding a second on 38 minutes after Temi Oropo’s shot had been blocked.
TEMI OROPO wasn’t to be denied for too long as he burst through to add goal number three just before the interval.
On 69 minutes, debutant PATRICK DRAKPE strode through the visiting defence to make it 4-0 before KANE STOCKLEY completed his hat-trick on 71 minutes.
A close range header from JACOBE ANDERSON made it 6-0 on 73 minutes before the same player set up MASON YOUNG for a seventh on 79 minutes.
TOM ATTWOOD grabbed a late consolation for Connell Sixth Form College with six minutes remaining to make the final score 7-1.
