FC United Youth rounded off their season with a comprehensive 8-1 win against TuS Altenberge 09 (a touring youth team based to the North West of Munster in Germany) in a international youth friendly match on the Broadhurst Park 3G on Friday afternoon.

FC United Youth opened the scoring in 12th minute through ROBSON BROWN and added a second on 18 minutes through MICHAEL JONES.

MICHAEL JONES was on target again in the 25th minute and there was still time for ROBSON BROWN to add his second, just four minutes before the half time interval break.

There was to be no let off in the second half as FC United ’s LEVESQUE BOUA scored goal number five on 47 minutes .

Two further scores from SAM O’DONNELL around the hour mark (the first a penalty) put the young Reds 7-1 up and KYLE SLATER completed the scoring for the home side with goal number eight on 84 minutes.

The young TuS Altenberge 09 side were good value for their second half consolation goal but were ultimately overwhelmed by a dominant display by the FC United of Manchester Youth team, which augurs well for the home side for next season.
