TURNSTILES AND SEGREGATION

Segregation will be in operation for Friday’s match.

Information for FC United Supporters

FC United supporters are requested to enter the ground via turnstiles 1 to 4 at the St. Mary’s Road End of the ground.

Turnstile 4 at the St. Mary’s Road End is a designated Development Fund turnstile which allows supporters to donate money in addition to the normal admission price.

Turnstiles will open at approximately 6.30pm. FC United supporters arriving before the turnstiles open can gain access to the ground via the main entrance in the Main Stand.

***A change to this season’s matchday operations is that all food and drink provision will now be contained within the ground. Therefore fans will not be able to leave and return during the match and at half time. An early exit turnstile will be open, but please note you will not be able to return once you have left the ground.***

Information for Bolton Wanderers Supporters

Segregation will be in place for this fixture, with Bolton supporters allocated standing at the Lightbowne Road End (capacity 650), together with 102 seats in the end block of the Main Stand, standing in the paddock area below (90) and 8 disabled places.

Bolton fans are required to enter turnstiles 9-12 at the Lightbowne Road End. Turnstiles will open at approximately 6.30pm.

Please note: Unfortunately due to segregation there is not a facility to serve alcohol in the away end, however food and non-alcoholic drinks are available. The closest pub to the ground for pre-match drinks is the Gardeners Arms situated at the top of Lightbowne Road, approximately 12 minutes walk from the ground.

The Main Stand and Lightbowne Road End are No Smoking Areas. Supporters wishing to smoke at half-time can do so in the designated areas adjacent to turnstiles 9-12 at the Lightbowne Road End.

POUND FOR THE GROUND TICKETS

We are still raising money for the club’s Development Fund as there are parts of the ground we need to complete. The quickest and easiest way is to buy a Pound for the Ground ticket at £1 each at Friday’s match with cash prizes on offer.

NEW CLUB SHOP

Over the summer we have converted an area of the Main Office to incorporate a Club Shop. The shop is accessible at the front of the ground to the right of the Main Entrance. As well as the usual hats, scarves and badges, we will also be selling the home and away replica shirts (shorts and socks) and a range of T-shirts and jackets.

The new shop will replace Megastall that was previously situated inside the ground.

Alternatively you can order these from the FC United Online shop
WWW.FCUMSHOP.CO.UK

FREE WIFI

We have free WiFi at Broadhurst Park for all supporters to use. Supplied by local company Pennine Telecom, to access the service just search for FCUM-FreeWiFi, select it and set up a user account.

TRAVEL TO BROADHURST PARK

We advise that all supporters read the travel information and make a note of where traffic marshals will ask you to refrain from parking.

For travel information please see our TRAVEL HUB

BUSES

Special Match buses and shuttle buses from the Metrolink station will not be running for our pre-season matches.

Supporters travelling from Manchester city centre can use buses 181 or 182 which depart at regular intervals from Stand F on Lever Street. These buses stop right outside the ground at the top end of St. Mary’s Road.

Returning to Manchester the buses run at regular intervals from St. Mary’s Road.

Click here to download the 181/182 bus timetable

METROLINK

The nearest tram stop is Newton Heath and Moston on the Victoria to Rochdale line. It is a 15 or 20 minute walk up to the ground, or catch the 181/182 bus that stops near to the metrolink station.

TRAINS

Trains run between Manchester Victoria and Moston Train Station departing at 26 minutes past the hour arriving at Moston at 33 minutes past the hour. The ground is approximately 15 minutes’ walk from Moston Train Station. Trains return to Manchester every hour at 03 minutes past the hour.

BY CAR

From Central Manchester
From central Manchester head out of town on the A62 Oldham Road until the junction with Monsall Road. Turn left and pass Central Park Metrolink on your left and take the next right at the roundabout and follow the road ahead straight across another roundabout which takes you onto Lightbowne Road. Follow the road for around half a mile and you will see Broadhurst Park on your right hand side.

From the M60 – Clockwise
If travelling via the motorway network from the north and west, head for the M60 Manchester ring road. Leave the M60 at junction 20, then turn onto the A664. At the traffic signals turn left onto the A6104. Travel straight on and then at the Greengate roundabout take the 4th exit onto Lightbowne Road, the B6393. Carry straight on for around a half a mile and Broadhurst Park is on your left.

From the M60 - Anti-clockwise
If travelling via the motorway network from the south and east, head for the M60 Manchester ring road. Leave the M60 at junction 22, then straight on to Hollingwood Avenue, the A6104 . Travel straight on and then at the Greengate roundabout take the 1st exit onto Lightbowne Road, the B6393. Carry straight on for around a half a mile and Broadhurst Park is on your left.

CAR PARKING

We would urge supporters to use the car parks we have available for a charge of £5.00 at the ground and for £3.00 at the nearby St Mathews School, only 3 minutes’ walk of the ground.

We are under a duty to ensure areas such as St Mary’s Road and the north of Nuthurst Road are not used by visitors to Broadhurst Park.

Supporters should be mindful that there is no parking on:

- St Mary’s Road and the streets off St Mary’s Road;

- Nuthurst Road;

- the West side of Moston Lane and the streets off it.

We can always use more volunteers to act as traffic marshals and indeed for a number of matchday functions, so if you can help, send an email to John Davies johndavies@fc-utd.co.uk or telephone the office on 0161 769 2005 and leave a phone number for him to contact you to discuss.

Enjoy the game.
