We are pleased to announce that the Development Fund is now up to £67,293. The DF raised £5,245 in the period between 1st February and 8th February. We would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who has made a donation.

The Development Fund was established to allocate funds to be used specifically for the build and development of our own football ground. Between 2007 and 2016, we raised £1,139,441- a fantastic achievement that is a testament to the passion, dedication and generosity of FC United supporters. The money raised between 2007 and 2016 was used to help build and develop our new ground at Broadhurst Park.

There are still areas of the ground that need to be developed further. We have set a fundraising target for this season of £300,000 to help us specifically develop the area under the St. Mary’s Road Stand, complete the build of the two ends of the Main Stand and allow us to meet the obligations of community shares and loans from the initial build.

In the period 1st February to 8th February the money raised was:

- Development Fund Donations: £2,440
- DF Turnstile: £187 (Salzburg match)
- PFTG/ Barrels: £453 / £182 (Salzburg match)*
- DF Fundraising Events: £403**
- DF Holiday Club: £1,580
TOTAL: £5,245

*Thanks to NZ Red - Jeff Johnson who won the PFTG draw at the Salzburg match and donated £100 of his winnings back

**The Stockport Branch Punkertainment Quiz Night raised £256, thanks to George Hayden, Loz Gill and Peter Wharton for orginasing this. £147 was also raised from CYCM/Stand for a Pint initiatives.

The total money raised between 1st July 2016 and 8th February 2017 is:

- Development Fund Donations: £34,972.30 (includes DF Turnstile income)
- PFTG / Barrels: £14,289.89
- DF Fundraising Events: £3,201.48
- DF Holiday Club: £14,830
TOTAL: £67,293.67
