FC United v Rochdale Match Arrangements

On Saturday 30th July 2016, FC United will play Rochdale AFC in our final Saturday pre-season match. The match will be played at Broadhurst Park, 310 Lightbowne Road, Moston, M40 0FJ and the kick off time is 3pm.

Entry to the function room bar can be gained through the main reception from 12 noon until the turnstiles open by cash payment of the match admission as outlined below.

Under 18s £2

After the turnstiles open, entry to the bar will be through any open turnstiles and then through the seated area of the main stand. The late turnstile will be at the South East corner of the ground. Full price entry will apply while the late gate is open. All categories accepted.

The bottle bar under the St Mary’s Road end terrace will be open before the match and again at half time.

Please note the function room will have hot food on sale before the match and again at half time. Also please note that alcohol will not be sold in the function room at half time but soft drinks, teas and coffees will be available, in addition to hot food.

Free WiFi
We have free WiFi at Broadhurst Park for all supporters to use. Supplied by local company Pennine Telecom, to access the service just search for FCUM-FreeWiFi, select it and set up a user account.

Parking
Parking is very limited at the ground and supporters should be mindful that there is no parking on:

- St Mary’s Road and the streets off St Mary’s Road;
- Nuthurst Road;
- the West side of Moston Lane and the streets off it.

For £3, there is safe parking at St Matthew’s RC High School, which is less than five minutes’ walk away from the ground.

Public Transport
The nearest tram stop is Newton Heath and Moston on the Victoria to Rochdale line. It is a 15 or 20 minute walk up to the ground, but there is a shuttle bus from the Railway pub (turn right at the top of the tram stop steps).

Football Special buses from City Centre
There will also be a football special bus running from Stevenson Square in the city centre to the ground. The bus is operated by First Buses and it will leave from Stop TE in Stevenson Square at 1.55pm. The cost is £1.50 single. No return tickets available. It will leave Broadhurst Park after the game when it is full. Departure is approximately five minutes after the final whistle, from Lightbowne Road.
