ADP Riot Tour - Model Village on Display at Broadhurst Park

FC United will be the Manchester host for a model village that is travelling the country and being shown in places that have a history of civil disturbance. The model has been produced by former KLF member Jimmy Cauty.

"The Aftermath Dislocation Principle is a vast dystopian model village housed in a 40ft shipping container that’s touring the country on a pilgrimage to 38 sites that have some history of rioting or civil disturbance. So Manchester for the 1819 Peterloo Massacre, the less known 1905 Suffragette ’disturbance’, 1981 Moss Side riot, and the 2011 England Riots. More info on the full tour here http://www.l-13.org/acatalog/Jimmy-Cauty-s-MODEL-VILLAGE--The-Aftermath-Dislocation-Principle--UK-RIOT-TOUR.html

As much as possible we’re trying to show it in places that aren’t necessarily related to art but are at the hearts of communities. So whilst it’s in Manchester it’s being hosted by the community football club FC United and will there from 1st - 7th July. Broadhurst Park 310 Lightbowne Road Manchester M40 0FJ"

The model will be viewable from Friday onwards in the car park at Broadhurst Park.
