FC United to visit Buxton for pre-season friendly

FC United will make the short trip to Derbyshire for a pre-season friendly with Buxton FC on Saturday 18 July 2015. The kick off time for the match will be 3pm.

Matches between FC and Northern Premier League Buxton have often been close encounters and trips to the Derbyshire spa town have always been enjoyed by FC’s travelling support. FC United manager Karl Marginson said: "We know that Buxton will provide us with tough opposition so we expect this game to give us a good workout as we continue our pre-season preparations."

Buxton FC’s Tony Tomlinson said: "We are delighted to be able to continue our association with FC United by hosting them in a pre-season friendly match. Hopefully the sun will shine and everyone will have a great time at The Silverlands on 18 July."
