FC United are inviting schools to bring their students to an event which allows young people to explore the employment options open to them that will make use of their creativity and enterprise skills.
This is another event run by FC United that has been funded through a Youth in Action grant from the European Union administered by the British Council.
The aim is to get young people thinking about their futures in a more creative and aspirational way and improve their motivation to engage with education and training.
The event is made up of a series of workshops delivered by businesses. Young people can choose which workshops to attend from the following;
- Computer coding and app design
- Writing for media
- Science and creativity
- Pathways into the music industry
- Jewellery making
- Make up for the media
The event will take place on Friday 24th October at the Manchester College, Wythenshawe Campus, Manchester and will run from 10am to 3pm.
To register onto their choice of workshops, young people should visit https://www.eventbrite.com/e/directions-creativity-and-enterprise-day-tickets-13432197063.
