New Website Design

Welcome to the newly designed FC United website.

New Features include a "Mega Menu";

The Team tab provides links to team info including the new women’s team and match reports for first team, youth team and women’s team.

The Watching FC tab includes away grounds info, travel info, ticket info and next fixtures for first team, youth team and women’s team.

The Community tab displays the last two community news stories with links to read more.

The Calendar tab list the next five events (meetings, community events, new ground milestones and general calendar events like bank holidays).

The Our Club tab lists all other pages with a Development Fund index.

The Media tab provides links to FCUM TV, Radio, Pink, Punk Football and other media related pages.

The Shop tab provides direct links to the new FC United On-line Shop and subcategories.

The Sponsorship tab provides links to all sponsorship opportunities with a feature on player kit sponsorship.

The Co-owners tab provides links to the Members Area and Members Forum, with membership totals and latest documents info.

Other new features include;

Greater Accessibility (make the text larger or smaller by clicking on either of the two trees (far right) in the main banner).

The"Mega Menu" gives us more space on the home page to give more prominence to important news stories, list more news stories, list Development Fund news stories, more space to display strategic messages and space for an official FC United Twitter widget.

A new Development Fund page detailing ways in which to donate and contribute to fulfilling our ambitions to build our own ground.

A Guide to Away Grounds, with results history and Good Beer Guide Pubs (coming soon).

A Man of the Match page which is fully automated and should be available immediately after each first team league or cup game.

An Academic and Research Papers page with a thesis from Dr Chris Porter of Manchester Metropolitan University.

A Resolution History page detailing all the resolutions put forward at past General Meetings and Annual General Meetings.

A Board Roles page detailing the board roles and responsibilities with the opportunity to direct specific question to the board members.

An Organisation page describing the organisational structure of the board and the club.

And finally a new "Footer" for each page detailing contact info, FC United info in 24 languages and a site map or A to Z section for added usability and old versions of browsers that might struggle with the Mega Menu.

We hope you like the new design, if you would like to comment on the new design please use the new Members’ Forum.
