Match Report
Satisfied that our new club can be a viable alternative for those who feel they cannot give their money to service the Glazer family’s debts, around 1,000 FC United supporters headed for London on Saturday morning. They saw their side lose 1-0 to AFC Wimbledon, a club formed in different circumstances, but one that showed Reds there was another option than giving up on football and giving up hope.

"Football without fans is nothing" read the quote engraved on the Supporters Direct Cup which Wimbledon lifted after the game. FC will testify to that.

"The spirt and soul of Manchester United will be sustained within FC United. We want to establish a community team drive roots throughout Greater Manchester to sustain it, whatever happens at Old Trafford." board member Andy Walsh told the Guardian.
