FC United of Manchester’s Academy ’B’ team recorded their first away win of the season with this 6-1 away win in the ECFA North West Men’s Invitation 3B League against Heysham High Men’s 1sts in Heysham on Wednesday afternoon.
The Young Reds opened the scoring on 27 mins when ELLIOT JORGE SIMOES INACIO netted from the 12 yard spot after substitute Mason Gregg had been fouled in the penalty area.
On 38 minutes, NELSON ONWUSIRI added a second with a well struck effort to put the visitors two goals up at half time.
On 64 minutes, BEN TAMILA added a third, followed by LEWIS UNWIN with goal number four on 75 minutes.
BEN FLETCHER added a fifth on 81 minutes and CAMERON BOLAND concluded the scoring for the away team on 87 minutes, although there was still time for the home side to net a late consolation two minutes from time.
