Match Report
FC United huffed and puffed to a sixth stalemate of the season with a 0-0 draw against Matlock Town at Bower Fold on Tuesday night.

It was another three points gone begging as the Reds continued their unbeaten run with a sixth draw out of eight, rather than the third win that we were all hoping for.

Karl Marginson’s side controlled long spells of the game and created the best chances but just couldn’t find the breakthrough against a well organised opposition.

Tom Greaves, Michael Norton, as well as substitutes Greg Daniels and Matthew Walwyn all had chances to win the match. However, they were let down by some uncharacteristically poor finishing and some good goalkeeping when called upon.

Full report to follow.
