FC United of Manchester is a community football club based in Moston, North Manchester. We have a principled commitment to be of benefit to our local community and to work with everyone in the community through an inclusive ethos that resonates with our membership. We are passionate and understanding of the wider role that football clubs can play in assisting communities local to them. International Women’s Day at FC United of Manchester

International Women’s Day fell on Friday 8th March this year and at FC United of Manchester we had a fantastic day filled with lots of fun activities to commemorate the day and showcase the power football has in bringing people together through delivering positive change for our communities.

School holiday activity camp this half-term - FREE

This half-term will see Broadhurst Park open its doors once more to the local community by hosting a sports activity camp for children on free school meals.

Community Day on Saturday 23rd March – 1,000 free tickets for local residents

FC United is delighted to announce an M40 and M9 Community Day on Saturday 23rd March, as part of Non League Day, where 1,000 local residents can watch our Pitching In Northern Premier League match against Basford United for free!

Green Football Weekend

Green Football Weekend mobilises fans, clubs, and leagues to take action on climate and this year the focus is on the power of a diet which features the occasional meat-free meal. Green Football Weekend calculates that if the UK’s football fans had one vegetarian meal per day it could save the equivalent to removing 5.5m cars from our roads.

Fans come together to help families this Christmas

The historic Manchester-Merseyside rivalry was firmly put aside on Saturday as kind-hearted Marine fans helped our campaign to support the local community with food and gifts this Christmas.

Christmas Sports Camp

The camps are always popular with children aged 5-11 and parents and encompass a variety of activities to ensure the young ones are kept occupied. Previously the activities have included football, cricket, rounders, arts and crafts, puzzle making and more!

Reflecting on Big Coat Day – 23 organisations supported!

Big Coat Day has been a regular, and hugely popular, feature of the club’s community work since 2005 and down the years the club has worked with a number of charities to help those most in need in the Manchester area. The annual initiative collects spare warm clothing, toiletries and other items so that it can be distributed to those who need it most – across the City and further afield.

FC United of Manchester are once again supporting the White Ribbon UK to end violence against women. The White Ribbon Promise is “I promise to never use, excuse or remain silent about men’s violence against women and girls.” FC United of Manchester General Manager, Danny Davis said, “I have always been supportive of initiatives such as White Ribbon, I have two wonderful daughters, a sister, mum and wife."
